TCEFA is an auction based company who specialise in early furniture, oriental items and master works of art. 

We are looking for a dynamic, qualified individual whose capacities, experience, values and corporate vision will enable them to work effectively with us for the long term, or at the least throughout the growth and development schedule of the next 3 years. 

This is a lead administration role and primarily includes assisting in the key management of all auction production processes including:  
1.  Catalogue production
2.  Direct and remote communications with clients on all levels
3.  Receipt and handover of consignments
4.  Office, reception, warehouse and gallery management

We expect the successful applicant will be from an auction house, legal, accounting or secretarial background and qualified to degree or equivalent level. Qualified Valuers are also invited to apply for this role, potentially as stage one of their engagement with TCEFA. Stage two being that their role may change to that of Valuer only, and this within a specified time frame. The latter, subject to the wider corporate plan, regarding development of their specialist field.

  • Proficient in e-commerce and ideally auction management systems.

  • Of a suitable level of fitness for the role which will involve some lifting and working in a building with essential stairs use.

  • Naturally disposed to creating and maintaining order in relation to all aspects of their work

  • Appreciative of a straightforward, happy, mutually supportive team environment.
