Wotton Auction Rooms are a highly respected long established auction business, selling fine art, antiques, jewellery, watches, furniture and decorative arts. 

Due to planned growth, we are now seeking a Saleroom manager with a good all-round knowledge to work from our offices in Wotton-Under-Edge.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills with a primary focus on managing the day-to-day running of a busy sale room, principally managing internal stock logistics, alongside managing staffing levels and overseeing auction lots being delivered to and collected from our premises.

This is a full-time position and would suit a highly motivated, energetic individual with industry experience. Full systems training will be provided, but experience of MSOffice applications is essential and knowledge of Easylive system is desirable.

Salary: TBC commensurate with experience

Requirements
Full clean driving licence
Management experience
Auction House/Arts and Antiques experience (desirable not essential)
Valuation experience a strong advantage. 

Schedule
Monday to Friday with infrequent weekend work (on the Saturday after the sale, typically one per month) and as required to suit client’s needs.  22 days holiday plus statutory days.
