BBA is one of the most respected specialist book auction houses, and has been run for the past 17 years by Lord John Kerr and Frank Herrmann, both of whom will remain on the board with Rupert Powell as managing director.
Full details of the deal, announced last week, are not yet available, but the directors of Stocklight have stated that the auction house will continue to operate independently, and all staff will continue in their current capacity.
