The takeover is planned for January, when Bernheimer Fine Old Masters of Munich and P&D Colnaghi and Co Ltd of London will come under the umbrella of the newly formed Bernheimer-Colnaghi company, with Mr Bernheimer as the chairman and sole owner. Rachel Kaminsky has been appointed the company’s director.
Bernheimer to buy Colnaghi
KONRAD Bernheimer, the Munich and London-based Old Master Paintings dealer has confirmed that he is to acquire Colnaghi, the Old Master paintings and drawings dealership. The gallery will continue to operate under the Colnaghi name from the existing gallery at 15 Old Bond Street, London.
