Since the beginning of the year, ICollector have been involved in an increasingly active partnership with EBay Premier to provide an online auction service for auction houses, largely in the United States. Although share trading is suspended, ICollector remain active and, with EBay Premier, are continuing to announce new auctions and have already previewed the sale of important photographs by Exeter-based auctioneers Bearne’s, scheduled for May 12, which include both the Craven Memorial Album (est: £500,000-700,000) and the Edward S. Curtis set of The North American Indian (est: £400,000-600,000), presented to H.M. King Edward VII.
According to the OFEX index, the shares were suspended at their 2001 low price of 8.5p, the company’s market capitalisation value was estimated at £650,000 and the 2001 share price peaked at 57.5p per share.
