The Government-funded initiative has already created an online database of 450 collections from the South West and West Midlands. Now The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries hope to spread the Cornucopia project across the rest of the country.
Anyone logging on to the Website at cornucopia.org.uk over the next few months for research purposes will see new information and updates, including links directly to databases for other collections with full descriptions of their content.
