They have been in their Deodar Road premises in Putney SW15 since 1880, but the company recently closed their New King’s Road premises and instead have dramatically expanded the Putney site opening a new 2250 sq ft showroom adjacent to the Deodar Road showrooms on Putney Bridge Road.
Eleven years in the creation, the new showroom incorporates five specially created panelled rooms behind its elegant Queen Anne-style facade. As can be seen in the example pictured here, a Queen Anne-style pine panelled room with bolection mouldings, these create the perfect setting to demonstrate Thornhill’s woodworking skills and provide backdrops against which they can display the grates and fireplace accessories formerly shown in the New King’s Road, as well as other architectural fittings.
Garden statuary, ornaments and fireplaces will be located at the original Deodar Road showrooms next door.
