Today part of the Britannia Group, Chapmans were originally founded in south London by Fred Chapman, grandfather to Colin and Keith Chapman, who now run the business from Paddock Wood, Kent.
Now with an office in Paris and counting The Louvre among their clients, the company proved an early pioneer in the moving of furniture and effects between Britain and France.
