The current offerings are more than 40 original prints by Joan Miró (1893-1983), ranging in price from £5500 each for Incertitude Prolongée and L’Ultime Menace, both plates worked in etching and aquatint and printed 1977, down to a modest £275 for the lithograph of 1970, Untitled, from Handmade Proverbs.

And as an added incentive each buyer will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a weekend for two in Barcelona, including a visit to the Foundation Joan Miró, which opened in 1975 on the heights of Montjuic overlooking Barcelona.

The gallery also holds a stock of more than 100 John Piper (1903-1992) prints and currently has an impressive display of paintings by the artist, including Abstract Design A (£1000), a small 1964 oil, watercolour, crayon, ink and collage design for building panels for the South-West Region Electricity building in Wandsworth, and a large abstract in gouache and collage (£9750) of the design for Coventry Cathedral’s baptistry stained glass window.
