loudly, this has been a consistently successful fixture with a faithful band of local private customers and very little turnover among the 50 or so regular exhibitors.

But there are a few newcomers this spring, among them local dealers Aquila Fine Art who promise local watercolour views of the Thames, Tim Saltwell from Worthing with period furniture and Patricia Markbride from Bath with mainly textiles but some prints.

This fair strives for some diversity but Madeline admits that its core is the dozen or so specialists in furniture.
