David Brown, head of fine art, said: “The move to the new building [where vehicles sales already take place] offers us the possibility of not only improving our service to existing clients but adding to the number and the variety of the sales. By increasing the number of free valuation days, we hope to make things easier for those wishing to enter items for sale.
“We already hold specialist ceramics and toy sales and this year have added specialist sections of textiles, militaria, coins and medals. While continuing our flagship fine art and antiques sales and the uncatalogued sales that are held every month, we look forward to announcing new areas, already under consideration, in the near future.” The move will be taking place over Christmas for a first sale on January 14-15.
Brightwells on the move
UK: Brightwells are moving their operations from Ryelands Road in Leominster to a new and purpose-built building at Easters Court, at the northern end of the A49 bypass. The new building is nearly three times the size of the present premises where space had become a problem.
