It was shortly after he had left the fair that he discovered the loss and dashed back to see if the belt was anywhere in sight.
Of course, it was gone and the dealer had given up hope and put the episode down to experience when, after checking with the fair’s security guards, he received a telephone call telling him the money had been found by another English dealer, Judy Greenwood.
Julian was reunited with his funds and not surprisingly treated Judy and her assistant Stephen to a good lunch.

HERE is a tale of good luck from Julian Tatham-Losh, who owns and deals out of Top Banana Antiques Mall, Tetbury, Gloucestershire. On returning to his car at the Chatou fair in France recently, Julian lost a money belt containing some £4000 in cash.
