To celebrate this milestone antiquestradegazette.com now has completely redesigned auction catalogue pages and boasts a number of new features including a full click-on listing of current catalogues, together with Star Lots pages that display the pick of these auctions.
To help users get the most out of the new features, an illustrated introductory tour can now be taken when visiting the site.
“I am delighted that so many people are finding our site such a useful complement to the newspaper and I urge anyone who hasn’t visited recently to go and see the range of services now offered,” said Gazette editor-in-chief Mark Bridge.
“The site has been nominated in the best website category at this year’s BACA awards, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for the double following Antiques Trade Gazette’s recent prize at The Newspaper Awards,” he added.
Many happy returns to Gazette site
The second birthday of the Gazette’s web site (it was officially launched in May 2001) saw its usage rise to new heights with over 2 million hits and nearly 300,000 pages viewed in a single week.
