Bookings have gone well and among the furniture dealers signed up are well-known names such as Jazzy Art Deco and Le Style of London as well as Leigh-on-Sea specialists Astoria Art Deco.
Expect plenty of ceramics dealers and others who focus on bar cocktail wares, silver, figures and glass. French, Italian and Dutch dealers are among those showing.
Early entry at 8.30am costs £5, with admission after 10am at £3.50.
Since 1996 the Deco duo have organised Deco events at Hove Town Hall but starting on October 5 they will put together an antiques fair at the venue. Called simply the Brighton Fair, the event is datelined to 1940. Further dates have been fixed for November 30 and throughout 2004.
Promise of a good mix
AS announced earlier this year, Beckenham’s own Brian Simons and Philip Thompson, who trade as DECOFAIRS, relaunch their London Art Deco Fair at the Chelsea Village Hotel, London SW6, on Sunday June 8.
