This is the 27th Feriarte and features 200 Spanish dealers plus a select band of foreign traders, all with quality stock.
To ensure quality, the organisers have formed a committee of experts to check every item and if requested exhibitors will have to provide a certificate of authenticity for each sale.
Feriarte is proud of the variety of stock on offer but insists on a criterion of work being at least 100 years old – with the exception of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Contemporary painting, which is a pretty major exception.

MADRID organisers IFEMA stage what is arguably Spain’s top fair, Feriarte, at the Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre in the Spanish capital from November 22 to 30.
