From July 9 to 11, Manchester artists are the highlight of Essex organiser Robert Bailey's 10th Cheshire Summer Antiques Fair at Tatton Park, near Knutsford.

And, as you might have guessed, Manchester's favourite son L.S. Lowry is centre stage.

There are 50 dealers in the Tatton Park fair, but most pre-fair publicity has been centred on seven original Lowrys to be offered by Lamont Fine Art from Leicestershire.

Ian Grant (1904-1993) was a longstanding prominent member of the Manchester art scene and ran the painting department of the Manchester School of Art during the 1940s, one of its most vital periods.

His work features on the stand of local dealer Jo Bennett Original Pictures.

Admission is £5.
