Working with his son Lawson under the banner Caminade Antiques Fairs, his comeback event, from August 27 to 29, was his first staging of the Oxfordshire Antiques Fair at Heythrop Park.
Reg himself was very pleased with the results and so were some of his 30 exhibitors.
Furniture, especially good quality country furniture, failed to sell, and textiles were not strong but there were sales among the paintings, silver, porcelain and glass.
Reg will return to the venue from December 10 to 12.
Exile ends in Oxford fair
AFTER two and a half years of exile from organising (following the sale of Cooper Antiques Fairs to Sue Ede) Reg Cooper, is delighted to be back on the scene.
