Some 26 exhibitors will gather in the ballroom and Banvie Hall of the castle, which the organisers tell me is the most visited stately home in Scotland, partly because of the ease of accessibility from the major Scottish centres. This, of course, bodes well for the fair and explains why the event was long ago fully booked.

Naturally, there is a strong Scottish contingent in attendance, including Koos Limburg from Angus, Priory Prints of Inverness, and Ian Whitelaw and Ian Burton Antique Clocks, both of Auchterarder.

Admission is £3.50.
