This is the seventh annual Asian Art in London and it promises to be the best so far, with London again set to assert itself as the centre of excellence for expertise in Asian art.

Many galleries are participating, and among them are Jonathan Tucker and Antonia Tozer Asian Art of 37 Bury St, St. James's, London SW1.

Their exhibition of Buddhist sculpture will include this fine marble head of Buddha, right. The 10in (25cm) high piece dating to the Chinese, Sui dynasty (581-618 AD) comes from a private English collection and will cost £9500.

Tucker and Tozer will be among those Asian galleries open late on the St. James's evening on November 7, other late night openings being at Kensington Church Street on November 6 and Mayfair on November 8.
