The first day proved tranquil to the point of comatose, but there was just enough action on the following two days for Sue to give the venue another go.
She is back on safer ground this weekend with her regular North Cotswolds Antiques and Decorative Fair at Stanway House, the Elizabethan home of Lord Neipath between Winchcombe and Broadway. Expect some 35 dealers at the fair, to which admission is £4.50.
Oxford merits one more try
FOLLOWING the supremely successful launch of her West Country Antiques Fair at Powderham Castle, near Exeter, earlier this year, Sue Ede of Cooper Antiques Fairs might have been tempting fate with another launch so soon after. Certainly her first Oxford County Antiques Fair, at beautiful Eynsham Hall, near Woodstock from May 7 to 9, was not an event to remember.
