The fixture, organised by Edenbridge dealer Lennox Cato and Lewes auctioneer Paul Campbell of Gorringes with Antiques Trade Gazette as the main sponsor, is in its second year and was well supported across the industry.

Spectators were pleasantly surprised by the levels of fitness and skill shown by both sides, with both teams showing exceptional stamina during what was a very hot afternoon.

The organisers have been delighted by the funds raised so far for the charity - more than £3000 - and are welcoming further donations. Cheques can be made out to Breast Cancer Haven and sent to Mr Cato at his shop, Lennox Cato Antiques, 1 The Square, Church Street, Edenbridge, Kent TN8 5BD.

Other sponsors of the event included Country Life, Christie's, Olympia Fine Art and Antique Fairs, LAPADA, Harrogate Fine Art and Antiques Fairs, Sotheby's, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Lennox Cato Antiques, Gorringes Lewes, BADA Fairs Ltd, Groves Restoration and The Price Guide.
