Director Neil Munro told the Antiques Trade Gazette that they had an option on another building in the town and hoped to be open in time for the big Newark fair on October 1.
All outstanding rents and deposits would be honoured at the new premises, he pledged.
The surprise closure came just over a week ago following a dispute between Trade Space and the landlords of the building. Trade Space’s management contacted dealers on Friday, July 9 and advised those with stock there to remove it from the building immediately, said Mr Munro.
The original intention had been to open up in new premises some time in August, but Mr Munro said that with the recent difficulties connected with the old building, they had decided to take the summer to resolve the matter and get everything set up properly.
