The 37 participating antiques shops will display Treasure Hunt posters in their windows and from any one of their shops you can get an entry form which gives a map of all 37 showrooms together with a list of 37 (not too difficult) questions.
Each shop will have one answer posted in the window and after completion the form can be handed in to any showroom. All correct entries will be put into a draw and the lucky winner pulled out of the hat.
Treasuring publicity
PROMOTION is the strong point of Richard Gardner, chairman of the Petworth Art and Antique Dealers’ Association, and he tells me the association is holding a Treasure Hunt on April 24. The prize actually is well worth winning, a nice antique silver-gilt caster.
