In May François Tajan joined Artcurial from Tajan SA, the firm founded by his father Jacques.
The Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance dismissed Tajan SA’s claim that Artcurial’s use of the name F. Tajan constituted “fraudulent imitation” or “unlawful exploitation”, saying there were no reasonable grounds for confusing the two firms or supposing any link between them.
