The unique travelling sale book relates primarily to the popular floral-encrusted wares of the c.1825-35 period and includes polychrome illustrations, descriptions and trade prices. Mr Godden says his discovery is not for sale but he has decided to make the manuscript – and a lecture on floral-encrusted porcelains – one of the themes of the three-day conference on early 19th century British porcelains at the Fosse Manor Hotel, near Stow-on-the-Wold.
