The first place ranking came in the magazine’s third annual award scheme, where Bonhams topped the poll among some of the world’s private banks for the highest level of service provided to wealthy individuals.

This prize was awarded for their role as specialist providers in the luxury investment (non art) category.

The Euromoney survey includes quantitative data about the private banks themselves, but also includes a peer nomination section. Inside the peer nomination section the private banks often nominate specialist providers who aid them in providing services to the wealthy.

“Bonhams was the name most often mentioned in the luxury non-art investment category by Euromoney’s private banker readers who voted Bonhams worthy of the top spot in this sector,” said Kap Monet, Head of Special Projects Research at Euromoney.

The awards ceremony will take place in early February at the Natural History Museum.
