The inaugural sale had 191 bidders registered for the live audio web service and between them they bid on 154 of the 376 lots at Dreweatt Neate's offering of clocks, barometers and furniture. Top price from a live bidding buyer was the £1300 paid for a 19th century brass, 3in refracting telescope with a selection of eyepieces and supported on a tripod base with a fitted mahogany case, by G. Dollond of London.
As ATG went to press, Tennants of Leyburn were preparing to go live on their Specialist Collectors sale of Guinness memorabilia, Ronson lighters and other advertising materials.
