Dealers offering a typically wide range of merchandise set up in Plaza de la Paja, not too far from Madrid’s El Rastro flea market, on Sunday, June 24.
The event, called Londonize, was organised by Beefeater Gin who have also staged London Fashion and London Derby recreations in the city.
The appearance of Portobello Road was reproduced with performers and translators also on hand to keep the business and entertainment ticking over.

THIRTY-six stallholders from Portobello Road made their way to Madrid at the end of June where the London street market was recreated for a day in the Spanish capital.
