Trevor, who deals in old English oak furniture and silver, already organises monthly fairs in the pretty Kent village of Wye with 45 dealers and at Lenham, near Maidstone, in Kent, with 65 dealers.

The new fair will be at the Ramada Hotel at Hollingbourne, near Maidstone.

“There was a fair there for about 20 years and they ceased about a year ago. I was often asked by the dealers who stood there if I would consider adding this to Wyefairs’ portfolio as there was a lot of affection for the Ramada fair.

“So, as business picked up last year and the year before – Lenham does particularly well – and as the hotel is very well sited less than half a mile from the M20, on the A20, we’re going to hold around three or four fairs a year there, starting on Sunday, February 25.”

The venue can take 80 to 85 dealers and if the fair is successful Trevor promises to expand it into the hotel.
