Since 2006, when the Artist’s Resale Right for living artists was introduced, DACS has collected £6.3m in resale royalties.

It is the success of the UK Resale Right campaign that has led Ms Cave to her next challenge, spearheading the campaign for the Artist’s Resale Right in Australia and New Zealand. DACS’s equivalent organisation in Sydney is known as VISCOPY: Ms Cave will take up her post in January 2009.
