Alan White, formerly with Hobbs Parker, Phillips, and Bonhams, is to head the department, along with some of his previous colleagues.
They plan six or seven antique and fine art sales a year and will also offer professional valuations.
The first sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, with entries invited now.
The department will be based at the firm’s headquarters at Rocky Hill, London Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8PY.
