The Morrab Road post office, now earmarked for closure, is just a five-minute walk from the saleroom – a close proximity that permits members of staff to go back-and-forth in order to establish shipping costs and mail purchases to clients at their preferred rate.
In future the paintings will have to be taken to Penzance’s central post office, a 30-minute walk away with no parking nearby.
