All dealers who had signed up for the next event scheduled for the weekend of March 27-28, 2010, will be refunded their deposits.
Held at the Atlantic City Convention Center in southern New Jersey since 1986, Atlantique was once considered the nation’s most diverse and largest indoor show with two stagings a year in spring and autumn.
Krause Publications (now owned by F&W Media) purchased the show from founder Norman Schaut in 2001 but now feel it is no longer tenable.
F&W Media said in a statement: “Given the uncertainty surrounding the current economic environment, we believe it’s in our best interest not to produce the Atlantique City event next year and to notify the antiques and collectibles community of our decision now.”
