Under the title Crisis? What Crisis a century of poking fun at times of doom and gloom is portrayed through 30 works by such greats as William Heath Robinson, Sir Osbert Lancaster, Mel Calman, Mac and Rowland Emett (1906-1990) whose '...and then the family portraits in the Long Gallery had to be sold', which appeared in Punch in August 1953, is shown here.
The exhibition is curated by John Rae-Smith, the London dealer in cartoons and illustrations, and the watercolours fair will run from February 4-8 in its new venue The Flower Cellars, Covent Garden, London WC2.
