The alliance will see joint sales and valuations, starting on March 17 at Ewbank’s saleroom in Send, near Guildford.
Chris Ewbank, the principal of the Surrey rooms, who will direct operations for the alliance, sees it as an excellent way of gaining access to new consignors along the South coast and its hinterland.
Meanwhile, Rodney Adams, principal of Riddetts, is just as pleased with the access his Bournemouth clients will gain to the Surrey market.
Property consigned for sale at Riddetts will be entered into either the fortnightly Victorian and later sales or one of the four important auctions of antiques and fine art held at Ewbank Clarke Gammon Wellers’ Burnt Common saleroom at Send, opening up the Home Counties area to Bournemouth clients.
