Originally scheduled for December 17, the appeal has been delayed twice.
As earlier reported, Mr Hay, who has consistently maintained his innocence, has been campaigning to raise awareness of the dangers of European Arrest Warrants – the device by which his case ended up in court – which allow for people to be prosecuted without any evidence being put forward to indicate their guilt.
