The fire started accidentally Monday, September 9 inside the timber-framed shop at 14 Church Road, Southborough, but there was only superficial damage as fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it caused major structural harm.
The shop will be shut for several weeks for repair but will re-open as soon as possible.
