The answer is centre-stage next year when the focus of the 2014 campaign will be a series of workshops at which the established grandees of the trade will be invited to share their experience with theYoung Gunsof 2013.

The message from the organising committee is clear: "We believe that the future of the industry is in the hands of this vibrant young element of the trade working across all sectors of the industry - owning shops, taking over established and sometimes weary family firms, working as auctioneers, exhibiting at and organising antiques fairs and working hard behind the scenes to promote the trade via the antique dealer associations."
