The Vienna premises are set to launch this autumn and will be headed by Caroline Messensee. Martin Guesnet, the director at Artcurial in charge of development in Continental Europe, will help with the coordination of offices outside France.
Co-chairman François Tajan added: "The number of European buyers from outside France has continued to grow in recent years. Overall, in 2013, 70% of the sold lots were bought by international buyers."
