BADA Voices will be a two-year collaborative project with Leeds University, consisting of 30 in-depth interviews with prominent BADA members.

The interviews will be digitally recorded and published on the BADA website (bada.org). “BADA members provide a unique overview of the changing social, economic and political landscape since BADA’s establishment in 1918,” said BADA CEO Marco Forgione.

“The 20th Century was a period of unparalleled change, development and turmoil. Throughout it BADA members have been instrumental in leading the development of the art and antiques trade.”

The project follows the conclusion of the HMRC-funded Antique Dealer’s Project in April, which was organised by Leeds University’s Centre for the Study of the Art & Antiques Market.

The new initiative will be entirely funded and organised by BADA.

All 30 of the “BADA Voices” interviews are scheduled to be live by 2018.
