Clinton was photographed signing one of the issues the night of the election and Topix Media, the Newsweek partner which produced the special issue, reported that 17 had sold.
Prospective collectors have already taken to Twitter to voice their interest in the piece. There was this from Sanyal, who describes himself as a writer, economist and collector of maps, tweeted:

Music history author David Hepworth also thought it would have found buyers:

Two different commemorative issues were printed, the other featuring Donald Trump who ultimately won the US Election despite widespread predictions to the contrary.
The incident mirrors a similar event during the 1948 election when the Chicago Tribune printed issues with the headline “Dewey defeats Truman.” Though reporters were sent out the following day to track down and destroy the 150,000 copies that were printed, some remain. Copies appearing on eBay have sold for as much as $4000. Typically issues take more in the region of $2000.
