The new council was announced at BADA’s AGM on Monday following a month long ballot open to BADA members. The line-up now features 10 rather than 18 councillors and a new member in London-based dealer Anthony Outred.

“Anthony has a great depth of knowledge and is at the top of the sector,” BADA CEO Marco Forgione told ATG. Forgione added that Outred has a “range of fantastic ideas” to encourage wider engagement, supporting plans such as the use of Skype and other technology to communicate with regional dealers.

Michael Cohen was re-elected chairman, running uncontested for his third year in the role in what Forgione called a “huge endorsement” for Cohen’s leadership.

The council meets six to eight times every year.

“I’m delighted that we have a new council in place for the journey of change we’re undertaking,” Forgione added.
