The programme, which LAPADA announced on Friday, looks at such issues as cyber threats, the legal pitfalls of online and distance selling and how to establish trust with clients.

“We listen to feedback from dealers throughout the year to endeavour to address issues that they are most concerned about,” said Rebecca Davies, chief executive of LAPADA. “Around the general theme of trust and security we have drafted in expert speakers to provide valuable insights on these issues.”

Speakers at the 2017 conference, which takes place on February 23 in the Houses of Parliament, include Dan Sloshberg, cyber resiliency expert at Mimecase, and Philip James and Danielle Spiers of Sheridans. Craig Davies of Rawlinson & Hunter will also lead a session on paying taxes digitally.

ATG is the conference’s media partner, the ninth year in a row that it has supported the event.
