Sixty ancient works from Ohio museum to be sold at Christie’s

Over 60 ancient works of art will be offered in total spanning 3500BC up to the 2^nd century AD. Twenty-four items will feature in the auctioneers’ Antiquities sale at Rockefeller Plaza on October 25 some of them with 19^th and early 20^th century provenances, including an Egyptian Ptolemaic period bronze cat estimated at $30,000-50,000 and a Cypriot carved limestone head of a male votary from c.500-400BC guided at $20,000-30,000.
