Lucie Kitchener, managing director of Masterpiece London, said, “Masterpiece London has established itself as one of the world’s leading fairs for the finest works of art from antiquity to the present day since its first edition in 2010. We are excited at the prospect of expanding Masterpiece London internationally.”
The management team will remain in place, with Kitchener reporting into CEO René Kamm as part of MCH’s new ‘Global Events’ division.
Masterpiece London’s ninth edition will take place from June 28-July 4, 2018, at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. It was established in 2008 and founders Harry Apter, Simon Philips and Harry van der Hoorn will remain on the board of the fair. Chairman of the fair Philip Hewat-Jaboor will continue in his role.
