There are six ‘tiers’ of membership on offer. The highest level is billed as resident membership for an office space and use of facilities including exhibition space (advertised at £5000 annually). Also included are spaces for use by international galleries (£4500) and ‘incubator membership’, which is set to allow up to three new galleries or businesses every year to help establish themselves.

A total of 25 full-time offices are available for five-year leases, with priority for exhibition space use going to those with ‘resident’ membership.

Last week, a series of open mornings took place. The centre’s membership brochure, which was also sent out last week, said that applications were welcome from “galleries and art professionals who believe in the effectiveness of a collaborative approach to the art market”.

There will be two rounds of applications, the first closing in February 2018 and the second in April 2018. The centre is set to open in autumn 2019.

Full details of prices and spaces are available online at the Cromwell Place website.
