Rob, an antiques dealer, previously operated out of Lorfords. Annabel is an interior designer. The two married in July and have now consolidated into a new premises under the banner of Black Design. In the 95sq m shop, which opened over the weekend, they hope to bring a fresh interpretation to the more traditional antiques shop.
They focus on a combination of antiques of all ages and contemporary furniture from their own range alongside other artisan contributors who will collaborate with them. One part of the shop is a dedicated art gallery where, in addition to traditional works, contemporary artists are invited to exhibit at quarterly exhibitions.
A full interior design service is on offer for private and commercial clients.
Blacks Design is open Monday – Saturday at 2 Banbury Road, Brackley.
