Antiques dealers of Camden Passage in Islington suffered after a burst water main flooded the area in north London in December 2016.
Page’s shop had been submerged in five feet of water and many of his antique ceramic vases had been swept across the shop and were left floating in muddy water.

Page, who had traded from the shop since 1968, spent the past year restoring the building and buying new stock to replace the damaged objects.
The shop will now trade from the rear and middle of the premises with an entrance on 7 Pierrepoint Row to the side of the building. The front part of the building is now up for rent. Page also retains his first floor office above.
Page said: “The flood was an opportunity to downsize. We are maximising the space we now have and will focus on Chinese works of art in the rear part of the shop which is now our new entrance.”
Islington’s Upper Street and the Angel area suffered from burst water pipe. The same water pipe burst in 2005 and 1996.
