Art Recovery International (ARI) has been hired by an insurance firm to help track down the car.

The 1964 Aston Martin DB5 silver with black leather interior featured in the film movie Goldfinger and was purchased by its most recent rightful owner at a Sotheby's auction in 1986 for $250,000.

In June 1997 it was stolen from a hangar at the Boca Raton (Florida) Airport.

Despite countless appeals for information it has not been recovered.

ARI is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information that results in the safe return of the undamaged vehicle. The vehicle is chassis no: DP/216/1.
