The next in the series is an evening with architectural historian and writer Jeremy Musson on May 23.

He will be speaking on the work and legacy of Robert Adam. The event, Adam and the Art of Elegance, will focus on country house interiors and the relation of architecture, decoration and Georgian social life including Newby Hall, Syon House and Kedleston Hall.

Later in the summer is a talk by colour specialist and interior decorator Edward Bulmer and art historian and design consultant Stephen Calloway. Tickets for all the events are available to buy from historicdecoration.com.

LASSCO was founded in 1979 in London’s East End and operates food and drink venues alongside selling salvage and antiques. It has two locations in London - Vauxhall’s Brunswick House and Bermondsey - and one in Milton Common, Oxfordshire.
